The March 30 2021 Lasker Lessons in Leadership featured Cynthia Kenyon, vice president of Calico Labs. In her talk, “Life lessons from a small creature,” Kenyon spoke about her discovery that a single-gene mutation could double the lifespan of healthy, fertile C. elegans roundworms and how it sparked an intensive study of the molecular biology of aging.
The Lessons in Leadership lectures are developed in collaboration with the International Biomedical Research Alliance and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Oxford-Cambridge Scholars Program.
