The November 9, 2016 Lasker Lessons in Leadership talk “Advice for Young Scientists“ was given by Lasker Juror Jeremy Nathans, Professor in the Departments of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Neuroscience, and Ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. The talk was followed by a mentor panel discussion.
The event took place on the NIH main campus and was available to the public via free live webcast. In the afternoon, Nathans, who is a leader in the fields of molecular genetics, gave a scientific talk titled “Frizzled signaling in development and disease.”
The lectures are developed in collaboration with the International Biomedical Research Alliance and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Oxford-Cambridge Scholars Program.
