Friedman: Lessons from Science History

Simpson Professor at The Rockefeller University and Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator, delivered a 2018 Lasker Lecture on October 30 at the University of Chicago. Friedman spoke about his exploration of the history of the discovery of insulin, and how World War I delayed the development of a first treatment for diabetes.
