Anne B. Fordyce, a longtime member of the Lasker Foundation’s Board of Directors, has passed away at age 77. For decades, Fordyce guided the Foundation as a standard bearer for research excellence. A graphic designer and lover of the arts, she brought to the annual Lasker Awards ceremony a vision of vibrant elegance that underscored the Foundation’s commitment to celebrate advances in medical science. Fordyce served as Vice President from 1994 until 2004 and thereafter as Director Emerita until she passed away. She will be missed.
